Co-pay and co-insurance should
be the same for mental health services, but it is possible
that they can differ from your regular medical doctor coverage. You can call
the customer service number on your insurance card and ask what
your "outpatient mental health benefits" are, specifically if
you have: co-pay, deductible, co-insurance (percentage of
insurance-allowed amount you will be responsible for), number of sessions
per policy period, whether preauthorization is required, psychological
testing covered/preauthorization required.
